The DOOA SOL Stand LED is a high quality lighting system especially designed for small aquariums. The approx. 32 cm long lamp with its slim design ensures optimum illumination of aquariums up to 36 cm in width and is therefore the perfect lighting supplement for, for example, the System terra 30, system aqua 30 or Neo Glass Air from DOOA.
In this stylish lamp model, the patented RGB LED chips have been adopted from the Solar RGB. The RGB LEDs produce white light by emitting red (R), green (G) and blue (B) light. By optimising the output of light at each wavelengths, red, green and blue colour tones become much more vivid and the aquatic plants and tropical fish in an aquascape shine in their most magnificent colours. In addition, this optimised lighting forms the basis for healthy plant growth.
The lamp holder is mounted directly on one side of the aquarium. The lighting unit is simply slid onto the holder. Further fixing with screws is not necessary, as the lamp is held in position by its own weight, only secured by a small rubber ring as a stopper. The position of the lamp can be adjusted variably, because the lighting unit can be swivelled vertically around the retaining rod by 180°. The lamp can also be adjusted effortlessly in height by tilting the lamp slightly and slowly moving it up or down. This flexibility makes it easier to maintain the aquarium, while at the same time providing a light that can be adapted to the plants in the tank.
The LED lamp is not waterproof, not dimmable and should not be operated with a dimmer. It is not suitable for usage under a closed top.
