Hexamita is a parasitic disease that can affect both freshwater and saltwater fish. In same cases, lesions appear on the head and flanks of the fish hence its alternative name is hole in the head.
Hexamita infections may also be responsible for head and lateral line erosion.
Simply add one cap full of the solution for every 10 litres of aquarium water for five consecutive days. A 90% after change is advisable after treatment. Results and period of treatment may vary from different type of fish and their severity.
